Honing Operations
Facility to hone several cylinder liners of any diameter and length on multiple spindle hi-tech honing machines with a high degree of accuracy and surface finish. They maintain internal dimensional accuracy, provide accurate cross hatch angle, correct taper, plateau honing.

Machine Operations
United Agricultural & Tractor Spares has developed comprehensive machining facilities. These facilities include use of Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) and Centreless Grinding Machines. They also have made it possible to maintain perfect dimensional accuracy and good surface cylinder liners.

Quality System
Our quality system covers the use of statistical process control and continuous quality improvement strategies. All quality related activities are covered by strictly controlled procedures and work instructions. We are working towards ISO 9001 Certification.

Measuring Instruments
Equipped with measuring instruments like hardness tester, tensile and comprehensive strength tester machine, verniers, micrometers dial bore gauges, air gauges, etc. Each cylinder liner is subject to crack test on magnetic crack detectors. All types of gauges are exposed to extensive statistical repeatability trials and have to comply with strict performance requirements before being passed on for production use.

Research and Development
United Agricultural & Tractor Spares is equipped with extensive facilities for material development, computer aided stress analysis to predict high stress areas and distortion of cylinders under dynamically loaded conditions to enable design and material optimization. Scanning electron microscope is used in the development of cylinder liner bore topography to minimize oil consumption and control wear. The whole research and development work is supported by highly qualified and experienced engineers.

Export Packing
Cylinder Liners meant for international market are packed in special corrugated cartons, which eliminates chances of breakage in transit. They are chemically treated to protect them from rusting due to hazardous environmental conditions during transit.
